Please introduce yourself and describe what you do for work.

I am a software engineer with 25 years of experience and a deep passion for the craft. A maker at heart, I thrive on building both software and physical products. Currently, I am channeling my background into my journey as a solo founder, building LongTerMemory (longtermemory.com).

How did you get started?

Building my first product: a blog about Renewable Energy

What is a common misconception that people have about you or your job?

The main misconception is that people think it is easy to create and sell their own tech / web product.

What part of your journey were you unprepared for? What caught you off guard?

As engineer and developer, I'm unprepared about marketing skills

What are you most proud of in your journey so far?

I'm proud about my previous career where: I built my own profitable product (a blog) and I worked years as profitable freelance developer.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone who wants to follow a similar path?

Study before to start, but even not be afraid to start. Learn by doing.
